Have you ever wondered how can you have fun in Ahvaz? Well, you have come to the right place, because Ahvaz is the most ALIVE Night Life city in Iran ever! Yep, you heard it right, IT IS DAMN TRUE. Where to begin? Stay with me till the end of this article.
For starters, you should know that this city never sleeps, just like New York in the US 😊 hell yeah. So where should I start my super fun time in Ahwaz? Where does the excitement begin?
Well, firstly, let’s look at a few things:
Ahwaz is a cool city, but only in the cooler seasons, as it’s just a few degrees cooler than hell in spring and summer (that’s not a joke, it’s true!). Ahvaz is well known for its nightlife. It is also famous for its bridges, it is called the “city of bridges”.
The attractions of Ahvaz:
So, let’s put the chattering aside and get to the main topic. Assuming you reach Ahvaz on a cold winter morning (hopefully) you will first visit the famous monuments of Ahwaz. Their list is given below:
- White Bridge
- Triangle building
- The old granary in Ahvaz
- Moen-ol-tak-yar Caravanserai
- Old church
- Zoroastrian tomb
- Mozif (traditional Arab guesthouse)
- Black Bridge (Victory Bridge)
- Old Modern Higher Education Building
- Sailing building
- And last but not least, the Old Bazaar of Ahvaz.
You probably won’t have time to visit all the above places before noon, so you might want to try some fantastic traditional Southern cuisine. You have a choice between the Emperor Restaurant and the River Restaurant to have lunch and then continue your tour after a lazy break in the sun 😊.
Before it gets dark, and when you can still see the dying sun, you can head to the riverside park, hire a boat and have fun on Iran’s longest river. Later, you can go for a ride under the longest man-made waterfall in the Middle East and then take a taxi and start driving around the city (the Persians call it Dor-Dor) and drive over all the old and new bridges and finally reach Lashgar Abad Avenue, where Iran’s biggest Felafel Festival is held every night. There you will dine, party and that’s where you can call it a day 😊.
👌👌👌
How can you have fun on Black Bridge?!
Or that Triangle Building!
Most of the places you said are places built in the past but that won’t make them places to have fun!
I’ve been born in Ahvaz and lived here for 24 years… unfortunately there’s no place to have fun…
