If you are looking for a place to get rid of the hustle and bustle of Tehran and at the same time escape the heat of summer in Tehran, you can travel to the countryside and villages of Tehran province, including the beautiful village of Lazoor. According to the Qajar era, each of these villages has its own stories and history, and interestingly, most of them were more populous and historical than the village of Tehran, which was itself an unknown village.

There are many villages around Tehran, many of which are famous throughout Iran for their beautiful nature and charms, and were also considered by previous kings. But among them, there is a special and relatively pristine village that bears the title of the largest village in Tehran and according to the current map of the provinces of Iran, the easternmost village of Tehran is located on the border between Tehran and Mazandaran. This village is called Lazoor or Lazur.

The village of Lazoor has been considered in history books as a gateway to the north of Iran and in the past, it was one of the ways for people to travel to the northern region of Iran. It is famous not only for its greenery and pleasant climate but also for the beautiful lake that surrounds it and the surrounding castles that have made it a pristine and special region.

The descent of people living in Lazoor village is mostly Mazani and the Tabari dialect is common among the elderly.
