Naqsh-e Jahan Square or “Image of the world” is the main tourist spot of Isfahan and one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Leaving aside the fact that it had to be built at 45 degrees to the rest of the square, in order to face Mecca, this has to be one of the most perfect buildings in the world, let alone Iran or Isfahan. “Imam Square” is a beautiful, peaceful place to escape the city and have a moment of quiet. The experience when coming to the Imam square is a supreme one. It gives a clear impression on the history of Iran and the wealth that the shahs had in 17th century. Go through the bazar all around the square, explore the mosques, go up to the music room for the best view on the square. Then also have a look at sunset when the colors on the mosque change and once more at night to experience all the beauty.
